Sports Arcade is a sports trivia game built around one idea: anyone can name the superstar, so the superstar barely counts. Every prompt asks you to name a player who fits, such as "a player who played for both Ajax and Barcelona" or "a center who went to Kentucky". A correct answer moves your player up the field, and the more obscure the player you name, the further you go.
Each player gets a fame score based on how widely they're covered across Wikipedia's language editions. When you answer, we compare your pick with every other valid answer to that prompt. If almost every other valid answer is more famous than yours, that's a deep cut, and it's worth far more. See How to play for the full scoring.
Player careers, positions, nationalities and honours come from Wikidata, the free knowledge base behind Wikipedia, with hand-checked fixes on top. If you spot a mistake, tell us.
Sports Arcade is independent and isn't affiliated with any league, team or player.
